We started the year photographing Jessica and Hunter’s winter wedding at the Carnegie Museum of Art. The CMOA is one of the top wedding venues in Pittsburgh. From a photographer’s perspective, it’s so inspiring to be surrounded by art everywhere. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day:

Getting Ready At The Founders Room
We met the bride and her bridal party in the Founders Room to capture getting ready pictures and for Jessica’s bridal session.

First Look by the Grand Staircase
Jessica and Hunter decide to have their first look before the ceremony by the magnificent Grand Staircase. Elisa captured some photos from the Grand Staircase Mezzanine and I stayed at the bottom of the stairs. Moments like this make me glad I have a second photographer with me.

Wedding Pictures in the Art Galleries
The bride and her mom led us through the art galleries to get pictures with their favorite art.

Wedding Ceremony in the Hall of Sculpture
There’s no place like the majestic Hall of Sculpture for a truly impressive ceremony. This place has its own aura and power, and I love witnessing the couple sealing their love in this space.

Wedding Photos by The Color Wall
Pictures by the color wall at the CMOA are definitely a must.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History Wedding Photos
Dinosaurs can be dangerous but It’s definitely worth trying to get a picture with them!

Wedding Reception at the Music Hall Foyer

If you want to feel like a star, this is the place. There is no better end to the evening for me as a photographer than for a guest heart in the middle of this absolutely stunning room!
